Buying a wedding dress during a pandemic
Buying your wedding dress is something that most of us dream about for years on end, but never did I ever imagine that I would be buying mine during a pandemic.
I was worried that my experience wouldn’t feel as special or as memorable and I was unsure how the different challenges and restrictions were going to affect my experience. Thankfully there was no reason for me to worry, as Aimee and the team made my experience unforgettable from start to finish.
I had visited 2 other shops before going to Rachel Ash, and had great experiences trying on some fantastic dresses, but there was a particular dress that I knew Rachel Ash stocked that I simply had to try on.
Despite the safety measures in place, Aimee and her team made me and my family feel so welcome and at ease, and made the experience feel as normal as possible. The range of dresses available was fantastic and I was able to try a variety on including my incredible Moonlight Bridal dress.
The moment I tried the dress on, I just knew it was the one.
The fitting
When I came for my first fitting, Katrina (the seamstress) was so helpful and knowledgeable, and I knew that my dress would be safe in her very capable hands. Katrina worked her magic on making my dress fit me so perfectly (which was no easy task due to the intricacies of the dress). When I tried it on following the alterations, it felt so emotional as the dress felt so ‘right’; it was just meant to be.
I will never forget how I felt on my wedding day wearing my Moonlight Bridal dress and I couldn’t recommend Aimee and the team at Rachel Ash enough.
