Sample Sale FAQs

1. What is a sample sale?
   A sample sale is a special event offering ex-display bridal gowns and separates at heavily reduced prices. These dresses have been tried on in-store but never worn for a wedding, and they’re available to take home on the day.
2. Can I return a sample sale dress?
   No. All sample sale purchases are final, so we recommend coming prepared to make a confident decision.
3. Can I hold a dress to come back later?
   No, dresses are first come, first served and cannot be held. If you fall in love with a dress, we encourage you to purchase it on the spot.
4. Will you offer alterations?
   We don’t offer alterations ourselves, but we’ll happily recommend experienced local seamstresses.
5. How much can a sample wedding dress be altered?
   Most dresses can be taken in by up to 1–2 sizes. Letting out is more limited and depends on the seam allowances. A professional seamstress can advise further, so choose a size as close as possible to your own for best results.
6. What sizes will be available?
   Most gowns are between UK size 10–16, though some variation applies. The dress list will include sizes for each gown.
