It can feel like an awful lot of pressure to be trying to find ‘the one’ especially when you feel like you should be excited to be starting this journey. We will do whatever we can to make you feel comfortable and to guide you gently through this experience. Have a look at what our stunning bride Hannah had to say after a nervous start and a longer wait for her big day than expected...
Getting started
While planning our wedding, one of the entries on the to-do list that filled me with the most fear was going to pick THE dress! I was so nervous about trying them on in front of other people, nervous of how I would narrow down the choice and make the right decision for the big day.
Aimee emailed me prior to my appointment and I told her how nervous I was. She immediately put me at ease over email so I knew that I would be in safe hands.
Dress of my dreams
When I arrived at Rachel Ash I was blown away by the choice but the welcoming atmosphere put me at ease. Along with my mum and sister, Aimee helped me pick out a handful of different styles and was so good at listening in and picking up on things I liked/didn’t like about the different dresses.
“The one” was the second one I tried on but happened to be the first one I’d picked out in store.
It really was the dress of my dreams!
The fittings
Katrina, the seamstress, was a magician! She made the dress my own by making sure it suited my body shape whilst making sure I still felt comfortable.
My whole experience from start to finish was so enjoyable and every member of Rachel Ash I had the pleasure of dealing with was so helpful.
We finally did it!
I had to wait a bit longer than I anticipated to wear it thanks to the pandemic and, having had my daughter in between, I was nervous about whether the dress would still suit me. But, finally getting the chance to wear the dress for our big day was incredible. I fell back in love with the lace, intricate details, and the statement train and just how comfortable I felt in it on the day.
