WORK EXPERIENCE BLOG // MEGAN

DAY ONE

The lovely Megan has joined us from Polesworth High School for her year 10 work experience.  Megan has spent the morning wrestling wedding dresses onto mannequins to help us prepare for the up and coming Sample Sale.

After all the button fastening, we have asked Megan to pick a dress from the rails and build a Pinterest board around it.  After all, you can't work in bridal without a fondness for weddings!

I chose to come to Rachel Ash because I am very passionate towards fashion. Today has been my first day and has already made me start thinking about having my own business when I'm older, I love the idea of working for myself and doing what I really want to do.  I chose the gorgeous Orsola dress as my favourite due to  it's simplicity and elegance, it also is something that I hope to wear on my own wedding day.

I chose the glamorous and elegant Orsola dress from Pronovias, part of the new 2017 collection.

A radiant, jewel-like wedding dress in crepe and tulle embellished with gemstone decorations on the back. A flattering style, fitted to the hips, with a bateau neckline and floaty skirt. A real show-stopper!

Megan picked out a lovely chiffon bridesmaids dress named Amy from the Maids to Measure collection in the 'just peachy' colour to compliment the pallet of her mood board. With its soft, gathered skirt and pretty dropped back detail, Amy is a great choice and sits beautifully within Megan's Pinterest board.
