Our boutique was recommended to Lucy by one of our brides, Becky. It is so lovely when we meet friends of our former brides; we are always so grateful to be recommended.
Lucy, her mum Sue and sister Natalie are three beautiful ladies, who have impeccable style. I honestly don't think I saw any one of them in the same pair of shoes twice. We so enjoyed our time with the Beale ladies and miss their visits to the shop!
During Lucy's appointment, she quickly realised she wanted a figure hugging dress. In all honesty, Lucy looked beautiful in everything she tried on but, with a little help from us, she picked a truly beautiful, beaded, lace-fishtail with lowered-back. Lucy's stylish gown, Bertina, formed part of the 2015 collection which celebrates 50 fabulous years for Pronovias. We added a beautiful, deep, beaded-lace scallop to the dress for that extra wow factor. We love to customise gowns when requested as we feel it makes the design personal to the bride. Lucy also had bespoke earrings, back necklace and bracelet made by Kelly Spence which completed her glamorous wedding day look.
Lucy's new family own the Fig & Olive restaurant in Middleton, and this would be the venue for the wedding. If you haven't been yet, go and check it out. Rachel has since been to sample the culinary delights and highly recommends it.
Lucy has been kind enough to share some photos with us from her wedding day. I adore the picture of Lucy and Natalie dancing the night away together. These two sisters are so close; it was clear to see what a great support Natalie was to Lucy during the run up to her wedding day. You just can't beat the love of a sister can you? This fabulous moment was captured by a wedding guest and Becky's husband (Howard's Photo) - looks like one hell of a party!
The hot pink accents of the lighting through to the groomsmen's socks, the styling of the whole day is gorgeous! And those flowers are to die for!
What a wedding! Congratulations Lucy and Frazer, we wish you the happiest future together as Mr and Mrs Smith!
