We have today received a thank you card from our lovely bride, Philippa, who married Tom on 23rd December 2014 at Mythe Barn. Philippa kindly shared her wedding album with us online which we logged onto within seconds... after popping the kettle on, obviously.
Philippa was the most laid back bride, even the day before the wedding when she collected her freshly steamed dress from us, when most brides are a little anxious, she was just totally calm. And it really shows in the photos of her day too. She looks so relaxed and happy, and Tom, well he looks like he was having the time of his life! I don't think I have ever seen a groom smiling so much. Even at the alter, when you could forgive a few nerves, he just looks excited. The best-man, bless him, doing the worrying for him - you're looking very dashing boys!
Philippa wore a Lusan Mandongus dress, which she knew as soon as she put it on, would be the dress for her. And we couldn't agree more with her choice, she looked amazing! The bridesmaids wore navy Ghost bridesmaid dresses, and they look elegant alongside the stylish navy-suited groomsmen. We had the pleasure of meeting all the bridesmaids at Philippa's final fitting, they are all such lovely girls. I love the photos of them all getting ready together. Looks like they all paid attention when we showed them how to help Philippa get ready, well done ladies.
Philippa's mum, Glenys, without doubt, is one of the most gentle and warm-hearted people we have ever met. She is just one of life's good people and she is of course, very proud of her daughter. We love the photo where Glenys and Philippa's sister must be looking up at Philippa from the foot of the stairs. Their faces say it all really, it's a lovely moment captured. Glenys wore a beautiful lace outfit from Dressini, she looks really chic and stylish.
Philippa and Tom's photographs were taken by Ed Brown Photograpy and we think they are really special. They have the perfect mix of style and substance and they tell the story of the day to us without us having been there... happy, sincere, emotional at times and lots of fun. One of our favourites is of the relative, I am guessing perhaps Tom's grandad, who dressed up as Father Christmas at the reception and handed out gifts to all the little wedding guests. What a lovely idea!
Congratulations Philippa and Tom, we are so happy for you. Thank you for sharing these with us, we have loved looking through the album. Here are a few of our favourites...
