Becky was our first ever appointment so she will always be a little bit special to us. Becky is a teacher and she came for a bridal consultation, along with her mum, on a Tuesday half-term. Becky and her mum are very close, and they both have a fantastic sense of humour. It was clear how much they were enjoying planning the day together and their relaxed-enthusiasm was infectious. Becky had come to see a Stephanie Allin dress that had caught her eye but in the end, opted for a romantic Watters gown with a bespoke shrug and Stephanie Allin accent rose corsage. She also wore a Kelly Spence Wisteria hair-band. We were so happy that, with our help, Becky found the dress of her dreams at Rachel Ash.
Becky and Howard are high-school sweethearts and tied the knot last April at Shustoke Barn. We love the photographs of their day because you can see what fun they had and how Becky really was the star of the day (which, of course, every bride should be) but in her own relaxed, lovely way. Becky and Howard are clearly the best-of-friends who will always be laughing their way through life together.
Our seamstress, Katrina, also carried out the alterations on Becky's beautiful bridesmaid dresses, the pale pink works so well against the groomsmen's stylish navy-suits. We also love Howard's bold polka-dot tie, it adds a sense of his style and personality to the occasion. One of our favourite photos is of Becky beaming, either ecstatic to be a newly-wed or excited that the food has been served ;)
We have since had the pleasure of meeting Becky's husband, Howard, who is a talented Birmingham-based wedding photographer (Howard's Photo) and we hope to collaborate on a project in the near future.
Becky and Howard are a lovely couple and we are chuffed to have played a small part in their wedding day. Congratulations Becky and Howard, not long until your 1st wedding anniversary, can you believe it? No, neither can we!
